THEME/MOOD:

A city that was seen a history of Invictus rule since the city of London was founded just over 150 years ago. One hundred years into the rule a war broke out between the Carthians and Crone against the Invictus and Lancia Sanctum to decide on who would control the city. To this day there are still hard feelings on both sides.
Recently the Invictus gave up control of the City, was it through folly, as an experiment as they stated or for some unvoiced reason of their own. Now it is in a state of turmoil as the other Covenants vie for power causing a turnover of Princes and instability that the wise could use to their own advantage.
Until a strong ruler rises the city remains a place of potential chaos and endless possibilities.

CHARACTER RESTRICTIONS

Please refer to the standard character creation guidelines out of the Vampire: Requiem, The World of Darkness, MST Rules Supplement and the Canadian Rules addendum. Storytellers reserve the right to send you ‘back to the drawing board’ if you’re character concept does not fit in well with the style of game we are trying to run, but to be fair we’ll tell you what our problems were with it and give you some suggestions/alternatives on what else you could play. We will try to be accommodating to a variety of concepts, but there are some things that are just too wild and outlandish even for us – the best bet is to ask first.
Please also be aware that if it is found that an approval has been abused, is not mechanically balanced, or simply does not work with the themes and style of the chronicle, any of the principal Storytellers in the player’s current chain of command, from the direct Storyteller to the Master Storyteller, may revoke it at any time.

PROXY RULES:

If you wish to proxy for a game please make requests to Proxy into this game a minimum of 1 full week in advance. If you wish your character to proxy during downtimes between sessions this does not apply.  Please send all Proxies to shadowhurst-st@yahoogroups.com or requiem.shadowhurst@gmail.com
Details should include: Character sheet, XP log (including XP spent at creation from MC),  ST and Co-ordinator contacts and a write-up of what the character intends to do and why coming to London.
Players must be aware that:
- your character may be given to another member to portray (i.e. there is no guarantee that an ST will be portraying the character),  there is a possibility of character death or severe repercussions to character actions, just as if you were here playing it
- appeals based on "But I wouldn't do that!" are likely to be met with a reply of "Too bad, we made decisions based on the information you provided." Therefore, players are encouraged to provide as much detail as possible.

For those characters Proxing from London to other Domains please remember that you must cc either shadowhurst-st@yahoogroups.com or requiem.shadowhurst@gmail.com with your Proxy information or at the very least notify with the Domain and contact information of the ST of that region.
All proxies must contain how a character is traveling to and from London, and when your character will come back.

TRAVEL RISKS:

There should be little in the way of traveling risks into the city of London by car or foot. The London Airport, though an international airport is still small and cannot always accommodate flights from certain parts of the country.
Please be aware that there are times when travel can be affected so please be sure to inform the STs when traveling to or from the city.

ANTAGONISTS:

At times, where there are strong internal politics going on, the antagonists will be the other players.
Hunters are a rather large group that can be found in the city of London [who hunt all sorts of strange things].
Depending on any national plots, Brood or VII may wander into the city if need be.
And of coarse there could be the occasional visit from anything that goes bump in the night.

VENUE RULES:

For Feeding the ST reserves the right to set the amount of Blood characters start the game with. Otherwise the standard feeding rules from the core books and addendum apply.

Any character with a Mid approval item, or higher, on their sheet is required to
have at least a basic background written and approved by the
storyteller before it can enter play.

All retainers must be approved by the storyteller before it can be
brought into play. A copy of the retainer must be available if it is
going to be doing any actions, or downtime actions on behalf of the
character that owns said retainer. Also a copy of retainer sheets must
be filed in the ST box. This is necessary as the ST does run the retainer and not the player.

Players must ensure that the Storyteller has an up to date copy of the
character sheet. This can either be kept in the ST box, on the CRD, or
on the approvals database.
Players may choose to leave their item cards with the ST in the ST box
and it is the responsibility of the ST to have the cards for the
player at the game. If a player wishes to keep their item cards, any
cards lost will be assumed that the character lost said item and a new
card will not be issued. If card is destroyed [washer machine
monster], the card can be replaced.

All experience expenditures must be submitted to the ST list [shadowhurst-st@yahoogroups or requiem.shadowhurst@gmail.com] if not being signed off during game. To clarify if you do not get the ST’s approval you do not have it.

Net Play requirements: In order for a player to earn experience other
then game experience the player has to play on the 1. An  IC list.
2. MiRC. 3. Downtime activities. Each one is worth 1 experience and these can be used to gain a max of 3XP per month. To claim these, an email must be sent at the end
of the month as to which character is claiming how much experience.
Please send emails to shadowhurst-st@yahoogroups.com or requiem.shadowhurst@gmail.com. If a player wishes to backlog experience, every month of backlogging will require proof of use of the lists or logs to show that said character was active and these must be sent to the ST list.

The following is a list of styles of play that you will use to
categorize your game:

Intrigue (politics and negotiation): 4
Action (combat and challenges): 3
Mystery (enigmas and investigation): 4
Drama (ceremony and characterization): 2
Darkness (death or corruption): 3
